Beginnings

Started age 8 at Coalburn Pipe band. Taught by Donald Williams. Stayed with the band for 17 years

Other Bands and Achievements

Coalburn - (G4 & G3) champion of Champions G4. Pipe sergeant and also PM of the juvenile band back in 1984. Moved to Black Bottle (G1) then to Kinning Park (G3 & G2.) Had a seven year break before being hoodwinked back in by Wee Shaw with a 'just come down for a listen' line.

Any one I'm playing for but Coalburn will always be my band.

Best Moment

Champion of Champions with Coalburn - It was the 1st time the band had done it. Also Playing in concert with Runrig in New York

Retire before I get as grey as Colin Mackinnon and the P.M.
